In a press release dated April 9, the Rémy Cointreau Group announced the resignation of its CEO Eric Vallat, whose departure will be effective this summer.
The group, which owns fourteen brands including Rémy Martin and Louis XIII cognacs and Rémy Cointreau liqueur, said it has already set up “a selection process” in order to “appoint as soon as possible [Eric Vallat’s] successor, who will continue the group’s value strategy with a fresh perspective, while building on the solid foundations established over the years.”
This process of handing over power is supervised by the current chair of the board of directors, Marie de Leusse. She also ensures “the continuity of the group’s activities and the proper implementation of the strategic direction”.
26 years in luxury
