The Milanese owner of Prada and Miu Miu has reportedly expressed interest in the Versace fashion house, which Capri is looking to divest. Flashback: at the end of 2024, the Tapestry group (Coach, Kate Spade, Stuart Weitzman) gave up on buying its compatriot Capri, after this merger project was rejected by the American competition authorities and a federal judge.
Alarming results for Capri
In early February, Capri unveiled rather alarming results for the third quarter of its 2024-25 financial year, which ended in December, with a 12% drop in turnover to 812 million dollars and an operating loss of 590 million dollars!
