As we previously announced it to you, the 6th edition of the 1.618 Biennial which was to be held during the European week of sustainable development 2020, is postponed because of health crisis. The event, which presents the best of responsible Art of living, is postponed the weekend of December 4 to 6, 2020, at the Carreau du Temple in Paris.
The 1.618 Biennial, of which Luxus + is a partner, showcases the best of high-end and responsible Art of living, works of art, solutions, innovations and actors of change.
This place of meetings, inspirations, experiences, awareness and debates, will be articulated this year around the theme of “Transparency“.
The show will be divided into 5 spaces to explore creative & responsible innovation.
On the one hand, the Beau Marché area will bring together the most inspiring brands and responsible initiatives in the world. Companies selected for the occasion by a committee of experts in sustainable development will present their products or services in this new open, friendly and attractive space.
The novelty is the “on my way” area. It is a question of presenting the CSR advances of the largest companies of the creative industry which will be revealed to the public, and which embark on the path of sustainable development.
They will come to present their concrete advances.
For its part, the Sourcing & Solutions space for alternative and innovative raw materials aims to accelerate progress and inspire creative people.
Like every year, the 250-seat auditorium will host speeches and debates on our changing world. The objective is to understand, be inspired and give birth to actions.
Faced with the emergence of a new profile of luxury consumers, sensitive to the ecology as well as to social and societal issues, the sector has no other choice but to report on their actions in this area, it’s clear.
Today more than ever, the new values of luxury go through sustainable and responsible innovation.
