The Panerai watchmaking house announces the appointment of Emmanuel Perrin to the position of CEO, effective April 1, 2025. The new Managing Director will report to Nicolas Bos, CEO of Richemont.
This change is in line with the brand’s ongoing development, which benefits from Emmanuel Perrin‘s expertise, backed by more than thirty years’ experience within the Richemont group.
An exceptional career in luxury watchmaking
Emmanuel Perrin, a graduate of Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts and ESSEC business school, is a key figure in the luxury sector. His career at Cartier, where he held major management positions, propelled him to head Cartier North America before becoming Executive Vice President Sales and International Commercial Director of Cartier Switzerland.
In 2017, he joined Richemont‘s Executive Committee and took charge of distribution for the group’s specialized watchmaking houses. Under his leadership, the SWM (Specialist Watchmakers) division marked a strategic turning point with a policy of reducing independent distributors, strengthening Richemont’s direct control over sales. This approach has enabled the Group to better control its distribution channels, offering a more coherent and integrated vision of sales strategies.
