Missoni plans to open its first permanent store in Milan in September, dedicated to Home Collection, its furniture and design line. The Italian fashion house specializing in knitwear is counting on the inauguration of this new outlet to offer greater visibility to this brand universe, which is relatively unknown to the general public.
Missoni’s home universe will have its first dedicated storefront this September. Close to the company’s headquarters, this new outlet will open in the Brera district of central Milan.
Until now, Missoni Home Collection has relied on pop-up stores, which are by their very nature ephemeral.
The Italian company, based in Gallarate (Varese province), was founded in 1953 by Ottavio and Rosita Missoni, but Missoni Home Collection, its lifestyle and furniture division, was created in 1983.
To produce sofas, poufs, deckchairs, beds and armchairs, Missoni joined forces with Roda, a distributor with its own network of boutiques.
