As Maserati navigates one of the most challenging periods in its recent history, the brand is updating its main models ahead of the unveiling of a new strategic roadmap this coming December.
Backed by Stellantis—which has ruled out any sale of the brand—the Italian automaker aims to reposition itself for the long term in the luxury segment despite sharply deteriorating financial and sales results…
A modernized lineup ahead of December’s major plan
Maserati has unveiled updated versions of several of its flagship models, including the GranTurismo, GranCabrio, and Grecale. This update comes a few months before an investor day dedicated to the brand, scheduled for December 2026 in Modena, during which Stellantis is set to present the Italian automaker’s turnaround strategy.
The updates primarily focus on improving the performance and range of the electrified versions. The GranTurismo and GranCabrio, in particular, benefit from increased range for their electric models as well as an upgraded V6 engine that now delivers 590 chevaux. This engine is also featured in the internal-combustion versions of the Grecale SUV.
