The prestigious Marriott hotel group has signed an agreement with Solana PA, S.R.L to open its first property in Costa Rica, an increasingly popular destination for luxury vacations. The St. Regis Papagayo will open in early 2027 in the idyllic gulf of the same name.
Costa Rica and its lush vegetation have become a magnet for tourists in recent years.
The phenomenon has not escaped the attention of Marriott International, which has just signed an agreement with Solana PA, S.R.L to open the first establishment of its iconic St. Regis Hotels & Resort brand in the country. The inauguration is scheduled for early 2027, with the first stone expected to be laid next July.
Making an impression
Solana PA, S.R.L was advised by niche real estate investment company GFG Securities LLC in negotiating the St. Regis agreements and raising funds for the project.
