On January 21 and 22, 2025, LVMH organized the sixth edition of its LVMH Watch Week in New York, to present the latest watch innovations from nine of its Houses.
After Dubai, Singapore and Miami, this year LVMH chose Los Angeles as the venue for LVMH Watch Week. However, due to the devastating fires ravaging the city, the event was moved to New York and Paris. In the end, these two cities were not chosen at random : they are “a link between two essential regions for the LVMH Group’s Houses”, according to Frédéric Arnault, CEO of the LVMH Watches division.
The United States, a veritable bastion of luxury, is also a strategic market for LVMH and its Houses. With over 43,000 employees and 1,128 boutiques, the country is one of the Group’s main growth drivers, accounting for 25% of its sales by 2023.
What better place than New York, in the heart of Manhattan, to unveil the exclusive new watch creations of the LVMH Houses.
This 6th edition sees the return of many of the world’s leading watchmakers : Bvlgari, Hublot, TAG Heuer, Zenith, Daniel Roth and Gérald Genta. These are joined, however, by three new brands made in LVMH : Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co. and L’Epée 1839. LVMH is involving more and more of its brands in watchmaking, noting the spectacular growth of this sector in recent years: “Six years ago, the watch and jewelry division was the Group’s fifth largest. Today, it ranks second in operating income, just behind fashion”, explains Frédéric Arnault.
