Luxury packaging: SPECIAL EDITION by LUXE PACK returns on July 1 and 2

The high-impact B2B trade show that promises to bring together “the best manufacturers and suppliers offering sustainable and eco-designed” high-end packaging returns to Paris in early July. LUXUS PLUS is a partner of the event, which will be held for the first time at the Carrousel du Louvre.

In a recent study conducted by the consulting firm Bain and the packaging and RFID chip manufacturer Fedrigoni, the rise of the green revolution in global luxury packaging was highlighted.

A pioneer in this field since 2019, ÉDITION SPÉCIALE by LUXE PACK is once again inviting international players in the sector to Paris on July 1 and 2.

Luxus +, a partner of the event, will be represented by Claire Domergue, publishing director, who will host two conferences on July 1.

A first for the Carrousel du Louvre

In a major shift that reflects its “move upmarket,” the trade show for sustainable packaging and the circular economy, organized since 2019 at the Carreau du Temple, is moving to a prestigious Parisian venue, the Carrousel du Louvre.

This will provide a fitting venue for the more than 100 exhibitors and 2,500 visitors, who are “key players in the perfume and cosmetics, wine and spirits, fine food, fashion, leather goods, and many other industries.”

The event also confirms its international character, with more than half (54%) of exhibitors coming from abroad (Italy, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Poland, the United States, Estonia, etc.).

The organizer, INFOPRO DIGITAL TRADESHOWS, which is behind the historic and key event in the sector, LUXE PACK MONACO (and its satellites in Los Angeles, New York, and Shanghai), describes the Paris event as “a high-impact B2B event” that brings together “the best manufacturers and suppliers offering sustainable and eco-designed packaging to meet the new challenges facing brands in all sectors.”

A new space for circular economy service providers

It promises “high value-added content for all brands, regardless of how far they have progressed in their eco-design thinking.”

And for this edition, the show, which explains that it is “continuing its original mission” of “becoming the essential reference for luxury brands that place sustainability at the heart of their packaging strategy,” is introducing a new section called “Eco-circular” for service providers in the sector.

“Our visitors, whether they are new to eco-design or already involved in eco-design initiatives, are looking for concrete and innovative solutions. By expanding our offering to circular economy service providers, we are responding to a growing demand for comprehensive support,” explains Fabienne Germond, Director of the Show.

Eco-circulaire will welcome eco-design agencies, training consultancies, experts in supply chain traceability and transparency, certification bodies and labels, refill solutions, washing solution specialists, and more.

Recognized players

Among these are “recognized players” such as France’s Tilkal, which offers a traceability and transparency solution for supply chains, the consulting firm Kepler Consulting, which presents itself as the French benchmark in end-to-end transformation, the eco-friendly packaging company BR Conditionnement, and the French certification body Ecocert.

The show will also see the return of exhibitors such as Parisian design agency Ahna Création, Italy’s Baralan (packaging for the cosmetics industry), Belgium’s Century Box (paper bags and gift boxes), Parisian printer Creanog, Spain’s Estal (glass packaging), German company Edelmann (cardboard and paper packaging), Italian company Favini (paper packaging), French company Gainerie 91 (leather cases), American company Knoll (high-end packaging), German company Gmund (paper packaging), Kurz (hot stamping), French company Segede (metal caps), Italian company Vimer (packaging), Belgian printing company Van Genechten, Estonian company Woola (bubble wrap), and more.

But newcomers are also announced for this new edition, such as Cosmotec, an expert in innovative zamak and aluminum components, Sericine, the leading manufacturer of 100% French silk, Berlin Packaging, a hybrid supplier of packaging for all sectors, Foilco, a specialist in hot stamping films, Elidose, which offers flexible packaging solutions, and Eviosys, a world leader in metal packaging.

GREEN AWARDS area

Another innovation for 2025 is the creation of a GREEN AWARDS exhibition area, named after the award created in 2019 in partnership with Infinity Global (which supports major luxury brands in developing customized packaging solutions) and which each year rewards the packaging solution most popular with visitors.

“This year, an exhibition area will bring together all the products that each exhibitor has chosen to enter into the GREEN AWARDS. Visitors will be able to vote directly in this area. The winner will be announced during the official ceremony on Tuesday, July 1 at 5 p.m.,” explains Fabienne Germond.

Finally, ÉDITION SPÉCIALE by LUXE PACK will once again feature a rich program of conferences, which will take place on both days of the event. Some fifty speakers will come together “for conferences, workshops, and feedback sessions to offer in-depth and concrete insights into eco-design.”

LUXUS PLUS will be there

On July 1, Claire Domergue, publishing director of LUXUS PLUS, will host two conferences.

The first, PITCHS NOUVEAUX MATERIAUX, will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. Four managers from innovative start-ups in new materials will be invited to pitch their innovations to the audience in ten minutes.

The speakers will include Nicolas Mistou, CEO of Lavoisier Composites (materials sourced from carbon composites from the aerospace industry), Thomas Hennebel, CEO of Dionymer (bioplastic producer, start-up of the year in Nouvelle Aquitaine), Muriel Morot, founder and CEO of Traille (producer of wool insulation wadding), and Philippe Michon, co-founder and CEO of Eranova (bio-based resin).

The second conference, FEEDBACK, will take place from 3:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Mats Olsson, co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Swiss company Curius AG, will share his insights on the issue of “design and innovation for a sustainable future” as a representative of premium tonic water brand Match Tonic. He will be joined by Fátima Almeida, Key Account Manager France at Spanish company Estal (high-end glass packaging).

In the same vein, Jean Calvo, packaging engineer at Martell Mumm Perrier-Jouët, and Céline Magalhaes, Premium Account Manager at Van Genechten Packaging, will illustrate the theme “Sustainable innovation: Technology and eco-design for premium brand packaging.”

Ultimately, ÉDITION SPÉCIALE by LUXE PACK promises to enable participants to “discover innovative eco-friendly materials and solutions, engage in live discussions with industry experts and benefit from tailored support, find inspiration for future packaging projects and, finally, leave with concrete ideas that can be implemented immediately…
