The world’s Number One in Beauty has sold ownership of its two cosmetics brands, Decléor and Saint-Gervais Mont Blanc, to the Cospal family-owned industrial group. Chaired by Mathieu Lesieur, Cospal specializes in the acquisition and development of beauty and wellness brands.
“Today, the business of the Saint-Gervais Mont Blanc brand is based on spa treatments and distribution in pharmacies, expertise which is not at the heart of the strategy of our consumer products division,” explained L’Oréal.

The group has also sold to Cospal all the shares it has held since 2016 in the capital of Société des Thermes de Saint-Gervais-les-Bains Le Fayet. The Saint-Gervais Mont Blanc skincare brand had been created in 2012 by the latter.
