Lamborghini sets a new record with outstanding financial results for 2023. Rising revenues and a growing operating margin attest to the company’s continued success. These solid achievements pave the way for major innovations planned for 2024.
Following its January announcement of deliveries for 2023, luxury carmaker Lamborghini confirms a record year with remarkable financial results, published on Thursday March 21. The company, based in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy, continues to grow.
In 2023, Automobili Lamborghini reached unprecedented heights, recording revenues of 2.66 billion euros, a notable 12.1% increase on the previous year. The Italian brand delivered a total of 10,112 units over the year.
This growth was accompanied by a steadily rising operating margin, peaking at 27.2%. Operating income exceeded 700 million euros for the first time, coming in at 723 million euros, up 17.8% on 2022.
“Automobili Lamborghini continues to break, consistently and in different areas, one record after another,” said Stephan Winkelmann, president and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. “This means that our choices and vision were correct and contributed to the company’s organic growth. The operating profit of 723 million euros and the operating margin of 27.2% are clear signs that the strategy we adopted was the right one. This enables us to look to the future and plan the next few years with ambitious new objectives: a future which, from 2024, will see major innovations.”
A solid foundation for the future
The outstanding results for 2023 are of particular importance because of several key factors. Firstly, they are achieved independently of the contribution of the Revuelto, a project whose deliveries will begin in 2024.
