Kering: new appointments to the senior management teams of Ginori 1735 and Brioni

On Tuesday, May 6, the Kering Group announced the appointment of two new CEOs at Ginori 1735 and Brioni. Mehdi Benabadji has been promoted to head of the Florentine porcelain manufacturer, while Federico Arrigoni will succeed him at the helm of the Roman menswear tailor.

The number two in luxury is strengthening the senior management of two of its Italian Houses with two of his loyal subjects.

Mehdi Benabadji, the architect of Brioni’s renaissance, has been entrusted with the future of tableware specialist Ginori 1735. As for the Roman tailor, it can count on Federico Arrigoni, previously Deputy CEO of Saint Laurent and President of the Asia-Pacific market, to support its recovery.

The former has a background in strategic marketing, while the latter has more experience in human resources. Both have had significant careers at various levels within at least one of the group’s brands: Brioni for the former (more than eight years), Saint Laurent (more than ten years) and Gucci (more than eight years) for the latter.

Mehdi Benabadji had been head of the Brioni suit division since 2020. Under his leadership, Brioni underwent a successful operational reorganization and experienced strong growth momentum, strengthening its position in the luxury men’s ready-to-wear landscape. Mehdi Benabadji joined Brioni in 2012 as Strategic Marketing Director for three years.
