Hugo Boss launches dedicated recycling structure

Committed to an ambitious sustainability program, the German premium fashion group has launched Eightyards, its own structure for recycling its surplus materials.

 

Hugo Boss continues to demonstrate its commitment to sustainability and to a production process that respects the environment and resources.

 

The German premium fashion group, owner of the Boss and Hugo brands, has just announced the launch of anindependent company, called Eightyards, “dedicated to the recycling and reuse of the group’s surplus materials”.

 

Under the leadership of Marketa Miltenberger, its director, and Placido Klitzke, its co-director, both from the Hugo Boss Group, Eightyards intends to “establish itself as one of the leading facilitators of recycling and reuse of surplus materials (e.g. fabrics) in various industries beyond fashion”.

 

A bold, brighter future

 

The aim is to provide Hugo Boss with concrete tools as it launches its strategic plan, “For an audacious and better future”, in 2023.
