The Andaz Miami Beach hotel (Hyatt group) opened its doors on May 5. Located on Collins Avenue, this upscale lifestyle hotel is housed in the renovated and modernized premises of the former The Confidante hotel and marks the debut of the Andaz brand under the Florida sun.
Beaches, art deco, and sun…
There’s no doubt about it, we’re in Miami.
The epicenter of luxury in Florida welcomes a new high-end establishment in early May, with a bird’s-eye view of the bright blue ocean, close to the excitement of South Beach but nestled in Mid-Beach. The Confidante Miami Beach hotel (The Unbound Collection by Hyatt) has undergone extensive renovation and is now reborn under the Andaz banner, another brand in the hotel group’s portfolio and part of the group’s Lifestyle division (Hyatt Lifestyle Group).
The establishment, inextricably linked to Miami’s golden age, is located on Collins Avenue, the “millionaire’s row” of Miami Beach, which joins the legendary Ocean Boulevard, a 21 km road lined with iconic hotels such as the Fontainebleau and Eden Roc, as well as historic Art Deco buildings.
The Confidante reinvented
Steeped in the history of Miami Beach, The Andaz Miami Beach hotel is a three-tower complex that pays tribute to the city’s effervescence in the 1950s. Once the tallest modern building in Miami Beach, the property originally opened as the Lord Tarleton Hotel, an 18-story hotel on Collins Avenue that made headlines and represented a boom for the city’s economy.
