As a leading brand in the luxury hotel industry, Hilton succeeded in 2024 in optimizing its strategy of expanding its global footprint while enriching its brand portfolio. Here’s a look back at a year marked by dazzling growth and new strategic opportunities for the American group.
Exceptional growth in terms of rooms and hotels
Last year, Hilton added 973 hotels and almost 100,000 rooms to its global network, marking a 7.3% increase in the total number of rooms. This level of growth is the highest recorded in more than a century of the company’s history.
At the same time, the brand signed up more than 1,430 hotels representing 154,000 rooms, consolidating its development pipeline for the coming years.
Construction of 88,500 new rooms also began last year. Hilton sets the record for a hotel chain for the highest number of rooms under construction : this represents around one in five hotel rooms under construction worldwide.
