Hilton marks a strategic turning point in its expansion in the Chinese market with the roll-out of its new generation of Hilton Garden Inn – Gen A hotels : the American hotel group has announced the opening of its first hotels in the cities of Chongqing, Sanya and Harbin, while confirming the signing of 19 new establishments spread across destinations with strong tourism and economic potential.
The announcement was made as part of the Hilton Garden Inn Investment Summit 2025, illustrating the group’s clear ambition to accelerate its territorial coverage in China.
A concept developed for the Chinese market
Unveiled in 2024, Hilton Garden Inn – Gen A embodies a significant evolution of the brand, both in terms of design and customer experience. Designed with the Chinese public in mind, this new prototype combines a contemporary, nature-inspired aesthetic with features tailored to the needs of modern travelers, whether business or leisure.
“By creating spaces that reflect their values, style and desire for comfort, balance and connection, Generation A is setting a new standard for customer experience in the upscale, service-driven segment, while delivering lasting value to our owners and investors,” explains Jenny Milos, vice president of suites and focused service brands for Asia Pacific at Hilton.
