Hilton announces the arrival of a new Canopy by Hilton hotel in Deer Valley East Village, an ambitious project in Utah. Scheduled for completion in 2026, the hotel will mark the brand’s first presence in the state, and is set to be a major asset for the world-renowned ski resort.
Deer Valley : a fast-growing ski resort
As part of the expansion of Deer Valley Resort, Hilton has signed an agreement with Extell Development Company to build Utah’s first Canopy by Hilton hotel. The new 180-room property will be located in the heart of Deer Valley East Village, a luxury alpine village in full development. This new area, which began construction after 1981, represents one of the region’s most eagerly awaited projects, with the promise of attracting visitors from all over the world with modern infrastructure and upscale offerings.
This Canopy by Hilton will benefit from an exceptional location, overlooking Jordanelle Reservoir and offering breathtaking views of Deer Valley ski resort. The hotel will be ideally located just a few steps from the Jordanelle Express gondola, providing direct access to the ski slopes during the winter season, while offering a friendly après-ski atmosphere and a wide choice of activities in all seasons.
