Four Seasons is inspired by the series The White Lotus

Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts is looking to capitalize on the release of Season 3 of The White Lotus. This American series, conceived as an immersion into faraway destinations within the very exclusive club of the ultra-rich, gave the luxury hotel group, which also organizes private jet trips, the idea of a world tour as instagrammable as it is extraordinary: the World of Wellness 2026.

In 2015, Four Seasons, which already marketed trips around the world, made its first foray into private jet travel with a single Boeing 757, refitted for 52 people (instead of 200).

In the spring of 2024, the hotel group offered for the first time the rental of a private jet for 118,000 euros per day.

With World of Wellness 2026 – part of its Private Jet Experience program, the Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts group is this time offering a trip around the world directly inspired by the phenomenal series The White Lotus, which has just aired its third season.

From May 7 to 26, 2026, 48 happy few will be able to go on a pilgrimage in the footsteps of their favorite characters.

The group is thus embracing the jet-setting trend, the growing attraction of travelers to the locations of their favorite films and series.

Beyond the screen

Combining culture, well-being and adventure, this tour of the world… in 20 days offers visits to eight iconic destinations, using the group’s hotels.

Along the way, travelers will be able to get up close to the filming locations of the multi-award-winning series The White Lotus (including 2 Golden Globes in 2023, including Best Series and Best Supporting Actress in a Series for Jennifer Coolidge), a satire of American high society, launched in 2021.

In seasons 1 and 2, the characters in the series settled down in upscale seaside resorts from Maui in Hawaii to Taormina in Sicily. The manager of the Sicilian establishment, Lorenzo Maraviglia, told the media outlet Travel Weekly that there had been an increase in traffic on the site as well as in bookings following the broadcast of season 2 in the fall of 2022. Beyond that, Google searches for trips to Sicily and especially to the town of Cefalu, the scene of the season’s opening, had experienced a real boom.

Aired by HBO on its streaming platform HBO Max since February 26, the new season written and directed by Mike White this time takes place in Koh Samui in Thailand.

What do these three seasons have in common, with a fourth announced for 2026 (potentially in Europe)? Behind the “White Lotus”, the series’ fictional hotel chain, are three very real Four Seasons establishments, each of which has been used as a setting for the plot of this dark comedy.

However, with its program, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts does not just stick strictly to the series.
