The two giants of yachting and luxury private aviation will together offer a series of exclusive and unique services to their customers.
Joining forces to offer even more exclusive experiences to their best customers…
The Italian Ferretti Group and the American Flexjet, two of the world’s leading specialists in luxury yachting and private aviation respectively, formalized a partnership on May 30 at the prestigious Venice Boat Show. With ten yacht models, including two world premieres (the Custom Line Navetta 38 and the Pershing GTX 80), Ferretti was out in force at the fifth edition of the event, which welcomed 270 exhibitors and 300 boats from May 29 to June 2.
The Ferretti-Flexjet alliance aims to offer the most affluent customers in the UHNWI (high net worth individual) category combined, exclusive and unique solutions in terms of performance, design and service.
Ideal partners
“Our customers, who appreciate the luxury of our yachts, also expect high standards of excellence in the air,” emphasized Alberto Galassi, CEO of the Ferretti Group, saying he was “delighted to associate our name with Flexjet, a partner who shares our same passion and desire to offer customers an ever more gratifying experience” . “Drawing on his ‘experience in the private jet industry’, he says he is ‘convinced that Flexjet is the ideal partner.’
For his part, “a great admirer of the Ferretti Group’s philosophy for many years”, Kenn Ricci, Flexjet’s President, points out that “this exciting partnership draws on the decades of expertise and the power of luxury brands from leaders in two complementary sectors” who share “a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver a truly exceptional luxury experience.”
Cross benefits
There will be no shortage of exclusive cross-benefits associated with this new collaboration.
For their part, Ferretti Group customers will have the opportunity to access Flexjet’s global fleet of over 300 private jets and helicopters for special occasions and VIP experiences, such as the one the company organized during Siena’s Palio, the famous horse race held in the Piazza del Campo.
Ferretti’s most privileged customers will also have the chance to use Flexjet’s growing number of private terminals, “offering exclusive gateways at key airports such as Teterboro near New York, Naples in Florida and Van Nuys in California”.
For their part, Flexjet customers and owners of its shared aircraft will have VIP access to prestigious international Boat Shows, private tours of the Riva shipyard, the Ferretti Group’s range of luxury yachts, and preferential conditions on products and accessories from the Riva Brand Experience line. They will also be able to enter the Ferretti Group’s Private Preview in Monaco, the private show organized each year by the yacht manufacturer.
A “more material” form
The collaboration will finally take a more “material” form. Flexjet, which fine-tunes the personalization of its jets, will draw inspiration from Riva’s design to decorate the interior of an emblematic aircraft: the Gulfstream G650.
Kenn Ricci ( Flexjet) says he’s “looking forward to seeing how this important strategic alliance can take our offerings to even higher levels of excellence.”
This is not the first collaboration for Ferretti, which is constantly pushing the boundaries of excellence for the benefit of its customers. The group has already teamed up with other luxury names, such as fashion house Dolce & Gabbana, car brand Range Rover and…Lavazza coffees, to offer its customers unparalleled lifestyle experiences.
