Ferrari has announced that it will increase the prices of some of its models sold in the United States in response to new tariffs imposed by the US administration. The move comes after Donald Trump’s administration announced a 25% tariff on imported cars and light trucks, which will take effect on April 3, 2025.
While other major automakers are concerned about the economic repercussions, Ferrari seems confident in its ability to adapt to the new tariffs without affecting its long-term financial objectives.
The new tariffs and their impact on Ferrari
Starting tomorrow, the US government will impose a 25% tariff on imported vehicles. These tariffs will mainly affect cars imported from countries outside the United States, including the European Union, from which Ferrari imports its models. In response to this measure, the Italian automaker has announced that it will increase the prices of its vehicles in the United States, with an increase of up to 10% for all models imported after April 2.
