EssilorLuxottica off to a strong start in 2026

For the third consecutive quarter, EssilorLuxottica has posted double-digit growth, driven by all of its business segments, from the rise of myopia-related solutions to eyewear incorporating artificial intelligence.

 

All good things come in threes… after two quarters of steady growth, EssilorLuxottica continues its impressive momentum with revenue of €7.127 billion in the first quarter of 2026, up 10.8% at constant exchange rates. This performance is driven by a balanced contribution from its two main business segments, Professional Solutions and Direct to Consumer.

 

In detail, Professional Solutions generated €3.362 billion in revenue, up 10.8%, while Direct to Consumer reached €3.764 billion, up 10.7%.

 

Francesco Milleri, CEO, and Paul du Saillant, Deputy CEO of the group, commented: “With this third consecutive quarter of double-digit growth, we are once again demonstrating the strength and relevance of our strategy, as well as our ability to execute it. We have maintained robust momentum across all regions and businesses, driven by the strength of our optical and eyewear businesses and our innovation drive. ”
