The next official lunches organized by the Chinese Business Club will be held on October 16 and December 18. These new editions will feature FEED CEO Anthony Bourbon and BPI France Managing Director Nicolas Dufourcq.
Luxus Plus is a partner of these events, both of which will be held at the Westin Vendôme Hotel in Paris.
France’s leading business network
Founded over ten years ago, the Chinese Business Club is now France’s leading business network. Its founder, Harold Parisot, came up with the idea after meeting a group of Chinese looking for a place to meet French business leaders. Since 2012, it has welcomed a host of prestigious guests. But it was the arrival of the current President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, in 2015, that was to put his club in the spotlight.
In the columns of Luxus Mag, this business school graduate claims to have realized early on the need to develop a “sustainable” network. Today, the club’s lunches are an opportunity for young entrepreneurs and business leaders to broaden their address books and combine business with pleasure.
Networking lunches
The next two lunches will feature two prestigious guests.
On October 16, Anthony Bourbon from Bordeaux will share his experience. Since 2016, he has been founder and CEO of the FoodTech company FEED. Also one of France’s most renowned business angels, he became a familiar face to French TV viewers after his participation in 2022 and 2023 in “Qui veut être mon associé,” broadcast on M6. In March 2022, Anthony Bourbon published his autobiography Forcez votre destin (Michel Lafon).
On December 18, Banque Publique d’Investissement CEO Nicolas Dufourcq will be in the spotlight. A graduate of the Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA), he began his career at the Ministry of Economics and Finance, then moved on to the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs. Until 2013, he worked for France Telecom, Wanadoo and Capgemini. That same year, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Banque Publique d’Investissement (BPI). Two years later, he was named Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur, France’s highest honor.
Guests will be welcomed at the Westin Vendôme hotel in Paris at 11:30. The event begins with a Networking Cocktail reception, followed by speeches at 12:45. After Harold Parisot, it’s the guest of honor’s turn for lunch. This is followed by the Official Luncheon at 13:00, a Networking Café at 14:00, and a grand finale at 15:00. Quickly done, well done for busy participants…
