After recently appointing Jonathan Anderson as artistic director of the men’s collections, followed by the women’s and haute couture collections, Dior has now appointed Nina Christen as head of footwear design. The two designers, who share a playful and poetic approach to fashion, previously worked together at Bottega Veneta.

 

A big name for Dior shoes was a must!

 

Jonathan Anderson, appointed artistic director of the men’s collections in April, with his responsibilities expanded in early June to include women’s and haute couture at Dior, has just been reunited with an old acquaintance.

Nina Christen, who worked with the Northern Irish designer when he was at the helm of Loewe, announced via LinkedIn that she would be joining the iconic LVMH-owned fashion house this month as head of shoe design.
