The actress and former it girl is one of three inspirational women chosen by the W Hotels chain, part of the Marriott Bonvoy group, to play the heroines of a series of short advertising films, dubbed “Hotel Tales”.
Films and cinema go hand in hand.
And it’s a natural fit for W Hotels to call on the services of actress and former American it girl of the 1990s-2000s, Chloë Sevigny.
In a worldwide campaign in the form of a series called Hotel Tales, the company, which is one of the thirty or so brands in the Marriott Bonvoy group, also calls on the talents of Spanish multidisciplinary artist Miranda Makaroff and comedian and TV host Ziwe.
These short films, written by Pat Regan, author and actor of Hacks (MAX) and “shot in an editorial-documentary style”, reveal as many “untold stories and epic moments that can only happen in W hotels”, says a group press release.
Authentic stories
“At W Hotels, we see our spaces as dynamic canvases where personal expression takes center stage and authentic stories unfold,” explains George Fleck, Senior Vice President and Global Brand Leader of W Hotels, in a release. Our hotels are places where creativity flourishes and the unexpected becomes a natural part of the narrative. This campaign is an extension of that philosophy, celebrating the diverse and original experiences that define W Hotels and showing how we transform them into something truly unforgettable.”
