The Maison de la rue Cambon has entrusted its new division dedicated to the circular economy to luxury goods expert Sophie Brocart. She has held a number of senior positions at LVMH, most recently as CEO of Patou.
After inclusivity, Chanel integrates the circular economy into its management chart.
According to WWD, the Maison de la rue Cambon has just appointed luxury expert Sophie Brocart to head up its newly-created entity dedicated to the circular economy.
So, women are the future of men, but also…of Chanel!
A career in luxury
In July 2019, it was already a woman, in this case Fiona Pargeter (ex UBS), who had been appointed director of a new division, diversity and inclusio n, at global level.
With Sophie Brocart, it’s a luxury background that has been chosen to take the reins of the circular economy…
A graduate of France’s top business schools ( ENS, Ensae ParisTech and Polytechnique!), Sophie Brocart has been CEO of Patou, the fashion house acquired by LVMH at the end of 2018.
She began her professional career in 1997 with the Number One in luxury goods, first in the HR department and then in marketing for its flagship Maison Louis Vuitton.
