Matthieu Heidsieck, who has just been appointed new managing director of Champagne Ruinart (LVMH) for the French market, is leaving a sector that is currently in turmoil (cognac) to return to champagne, which is also under pressure…
He has just announced on LinkedIn that “a new professional chapter” is beginning for him “after three exceptionally rewarding years” at “the great Cognac house Hennessy.” This is another flagship brand of LVMH (which, as we recall, stands for “Louis Vuitton-Moët-Hennessy”).
Champagne roots
Matthieu Heidsieck says he is “very happy to return to his Champagne roots” and to join “the beautiful House of Ruinart” (…/…) “which celebrates Chardonnay, nature, and art with elegance and modernity.”
