Carlton Cannes promotes its luxury residences this summer

The Carlton Cannes, which underwent a titanic renovation last year, is highlighting its residential offering with 37 apartments. Set in idyllic surroundings, these spaces combine the comfort of a private apartment with the services of a prestigious hotel.

Renovated and reopening in spring 2023, the Carlton Cannes has taken the opportunity to launch a residential offering with 37 luxury apartments. Located on the Croisette, these residences combine the intimacy of a private home with the comfort and services of a prestige hotel. The aim of this initiative is to offer an extended stay alternative to hotels on the Côte d’Azur, for holidaymakers and professionals alike.

A reinvented heritage for a new generation

Built in 1911, the Carlton Cannes, known for its rich history and architecture, has long been a symbol of luxury hotels on the French Riviera. Its reopening in March 2023, after two years of closure and five years of extensive renovation work, marked the beginning of a new era for this century-old hotel. The Belle Époque façade, restored to its original splendor, stands proudly, while the interior has been completely redesigned by French interior architect Tristan Auer.

The challenge of the renovation was “to make this iconic building, which celebrates its 110th birthday in 2023, more charming and modern ”, says Auer, while preserving its historic aura. The result is an elegant fusion of past and present, where every detail has been meticulously designed to meet the expectations of the most discerning travelers. The two wings added to the rear of the building house not only luxurious common spaces, but also residences that are at the heart of this transformation.

Residences that redefine luxury

Numbering 37, these residences, ranging from two to four bedrooms (70 to 270 m²), offer an exclusive alternative to the traditional hotel experience, creating a new standard for extended stays on the Côte d’Azur. “These splendid residences combine all the services of a luxury hotel with the intimacy of a dedicated space,” says Carlton Cannes in its press release.

The noble materials used, such as Carrara marble and hand-crafted ceramics from Vallauris, give these apartments a timeless charm. Each residence is equipped with a modern kitchen, spacious living room and elegantly decorated bedrooms, reflecting the sophisticated style for which the Carlton is renowned. Residents also enjoyexclusive access to a range of personalized services, from 24-hour concierge services to private event organization and bespoke culinary services.

A veritable Eden of unparalleled luxury, the hotel also features a penthouse at its summit. Spanning an area of 450 m², this XXL apartment boasts two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, as well as a kitchen, several lounges and a vast dining room. But the highlight is undoubtedly its private panoramic terrace, offering breathtaking views of the garden and the Mediterranean. This exceptional rooftop also boasts its own private swimming pool and outdoor kitchen.

Carlton Cannes has called on local craftsmen to integrate unique design elements, such as Art Deco-inspired chandeliers and stucco columns in the common areas, creating a perfect harmony between tradition and modernity. These residences are more than just accommodation; they are a true invitation to immerse oneself in the art of Riviera living.

As an integral part of the renovation project, the Carlton residences have been designed to offer visitors an exceptional living environment. With breathtaking views over the Bay of Cannes and direct access to the famous Croisette, they represent the pinnacle of residential luxury to “Create lasting memories in the heart of the Bay of Cannes, in the ultimate comfort of [the] luxury residence.”

A professional target

Although these residences were inaugurated at the same time as the reopening of the Ritz-Carlton Group’s iconic Cannes hotel, they are benefiting froman extraordinary promotion this summer.

Behind this spotlight is the Carlton’s desire to target business travelers in addition to vacationers. It’s a way for the hotel to capitalize on the development of telecommuting, but also to respond to a greater need for autonomy, privacy and confidentiality.

Cannes is also a major venue for business events, hosting not only the Cannes Film Festival, but also numerous seminars and international trade fairs such as the Cannes Lions (advertising), the TFWA (travel retail) and the Cannes Yachting Festival (yachting).

Each of the residences offers exceptional workspace, as well as an optimal setting for all kinds of receptions in total discretion. Both individual professionals and brands can take advantage of these spaces for private events.

With these new residences, the Carlton Cannes not only reaffirms its status as a leader in luxury hotels, but also sets a new standard for residential experiences on the Côte d’Azur. The efforts of Tristan Auer and his team to respect the building’s heritage while bringing it into the 21st century have been crowned with success. “It took a long time to prepare,” explains Auer, emphasizing the attention to detail required to preserve the historic character while integrating modern elements.

As a result, the Carlton Cannes residences are a unique offering that transcends simple hospitality. They enable residents to enjoy the full experience of luxury, with all the comfort and privacy of a home, while benefiting from the exclusive services of a five-star hotel.
