Breitling may be 141 years old, but it knows how to stay in tune with the times.
On March 25, on the eve of the Watches and Wonder 2025 show in Geneva, the Swiss watchmaker made a double announcement: the appointment of American actor Austin Butler as the new ambassador for its new model, the Top Time B31. This is a first for Breitling, as it incorporates the B31 caliber, its very first manufacture movement with three hands!
“Austin perfectly embodies the free spirit of this collection,” the company says. Designed for those who intend to live their lives as they see fit, the Top Time embodies the personality, individuality and casual style characteristic of the actor.”
A pioneer of non-gender
From its beginnings in the 1960s, the Top Time established itself as an icon of style and speed. “This bold and unconventional chronograph by Willy Breitling reflected the freedom of the era” and represented “a break with traditional watch design,” recalls the specialized media la Côte des montres.
