The luxury travel subsidiary of the LVMH group has unveiled the latest addition to its collection of luxury trains exploring Great Britain. From July 2025, the Britannic Explorer will offer an exploration of the wild and picturesque nature of Cornwall, the Lake District nature park and Wales.
The Britannic Explorer – the latest luxury train to be presented by the Belmond Group, a subsidiary of LVMH – is sure to set many hearts aflutter.
Its name will remind many admirers of the late Queen Elizabeth of her yacht, the Britannia.
While the Britannia enabled the illustrious royal family to sail the seas until she was laid up in Portsmouth in 1997, from July 2025 the Britannic Explorer will enable sufficiently well-off travellers to explore England and Wales in comfort by rail.
Three routes
Three routes, through wild and picturesque landscapes, will also be offered: the first two in England (Cornwall or in the Lake District nature park) and the third in Wales”.
