The Italian group, head of fashion brands Moschino and Alberta Ferretti, faced a sharp drop in sales in 2024. But its CEO, Massimo Ferretti, believes he has taken the necessary steps to restore its momentum by the end of the year.

Sales for the Italian group behind the Moschino, Alberta Ferretti and Philosophy by Lorenzo Serafini fashion brands, as well as Pollini shoes, plummeted by -21.2% at constant exchange rates (-21.3% at current exchange rates) last year, to 251 million euros.

 

Moschino hardest hit by decline

 

In more detail, sales of its heavyweight, Moschino, fell by 22.5% at constant exchange rates to 186.3 million euros, the steepest decline, whileAlberta Ferretti dropped by 17.4% to 18.1 million euros. Philosophy by Lorenzo fell by 15.1% to 14.7 million euros, while Pollini’s decline was more limited (-10.8% to 30.8 million euros).
