To face the winter and the low-back of ski resorts, luxury houses are making every effort to offer lines that are as technical as they are elegant. Between ultra-colorful down jackets, nude sets and logo-printed sweaters, a look at 7 collections to adopt in the mountains and even in the city.
Dior, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga… It’s hard not to find a high-end brand that is not established in the winter sports segment. According to Business Research Insights, the luxury ski apparel market was valued at $1.6 billion in 2023 and is expected to reach $2.7 billion in 2032, with annual growth of 6.2% over this period. Combined with the excitement of winter tourism, the appeal for these warm rooms is not going to diminish.
Dior Alps
For its collection dedicated to winter sports, Dior imagines down jackets inspired by the iconic Bar de la Maison cut, tight at the waist and then flared. Combined with a leggings marked “Christian Dior Paris”, these pieces are also associated with short skirts in trapezoid shape. More or less tall moonboots and warm long-sleeved tops to face the cold of the mountains are also available.
