Travel, clothing style, decoration, entertainment… The Pinterest platform has unveiled its trend predictions for 2025 in its annual report. The tone is set: from next January, everyone will be looking to stand out and develop their own aesthetic.
Based on the behaviour of its 500 million monthly users, Pinterest has identified 20 trends that should mark the year 2025, from interior design to fashion, beauty, travel, food and drink. And this work has been paying off over the last five years, with the latest reports being 80% accurate every time. It’s worth noting that 65% of the trends of 2025 will be driven by GenZ. This should inspire consumers in their daily lives, but also advertisers in their product development.

When it comes to fashion, one of the big trends is matchy matchy. For a festival or an evening out, we’re going out with outfits that match our +1. The sailor style is also in the spotlight, with cable-knit jumpers, sailor suits and even sardine tattoos, which are exploding in popularity. Elegantly inspired by the silhouettes of fishermen is more in vogue than ever. Biker fashion is also making a comeback, with biker boots, flowing skirts, fringed pieces and leather handbags. GenZ and Millenials are finally turning to medieval style, with a strong appeal to the gothic aesthetic.
