Only a few days to go until the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. And for several months now, brands have been unveiling the outfits for the opening and closing ceremonies, the looks designed according to the specificities of the disciplines and the silhouettes that will accompany the athletes and teams throughout the global event.
From 26 July to 11 August, the whole world will be vibrating to the rhythm of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. As a guarantee of increased visibility and a demonstration of know-how, being a partner of the Olympic Games is a must for brands, from the most sporty to the most luxury. Some previous looks have already gone down in the annals of the event, sublimating the athletes and teams in general and deserving a fashion gold medal. Here’s a look at some of the brands that will be dressing the athletes, from Coq Sportif to Ralph Lauren to Kenzo.
Berluti
Berluti, the luxury fashion house owned by LVMH, has signed the outfits for the opening ceremonies of the French Olympic and Paralympic Team for Paris 2024. The athletes from the French delegation will be wearing tuxedo-style looks, with sizes ranging from 3XS to 6XL for clothing and from 35 to 56 for shoes.
Le Coq Sportif
Designer Stéphane Ashpool, founder of men’s ready-to-wear label Pigalle Paris, and French sportswear brand Le Coq Sportif have teamed up to create the outfits for the French Olympic team. The line includes competition looks for over 60 disciplines as well as training and performance silhouettes, as seen in the Olympic Village and on the podium.
