[Luxus Magazine] Former ultra renowned night club, the Bus Palladium is being converted into a hotel

Mecca of music that can no longer be trendy since its opening in 1965, the Bus Palladium had closed its doors in 2022 after having danced all over Paris for several decades. Today, the address is reborn as a 5-star hotel, still intimately linked to the music scene.

 

It is a renewal that all lovers of music and celebration were waiting for. In 2022, the mythical establishment announced its closure, definitive at the time. As indicated three years ago, the address in the heart of Pigalle, too expensive and weakened by Covid, should be razed to build a hotel. A reconstitution of the festive spaces was then envisaged, without however healing the mourning of its followers.

In 1965, at 6 rue Pierre-Fontaine in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, James Arch and James Thibault unveiled their club, open to all. And its name reflects the ambition of the place. The idea was to go pick up the young people in the suburbs by shuttle bus to allow them to have fun in the capital. A unique mix of social classes and personalities, all united by the love of partying. The name Palladium refers to a famous New York nightclub. Bus Palladium was born.
