“A Perfume Atlas” by Louis Vuitton
Created in collaboration with Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, Louis Vuitton’s in-house master perfumer, “A Perfume Atlas” explores, in 380 pages, the raw materials of the luxury House’s fragrances. From cinnamon from Sri Lanka to cocoa from the Ivory Coast, via rose and jasmine from Grasse, the book examines the high points of the essences that help make Louis Vuitton fragrances legendary. While the book is available on its own, it can also be complemented by a boxed set containing 45 ingredient extractions. This complete set is on sale in some of the brand’s physical shops for a total value of $5,000.
