For several months, the Paddington model from Chloé is once again in the limelight, 20 years after its creation. Look back on the history of this cult bag from the 2000s.
It is an icon of leather goods. In 2004, the artistic director of Chloé, Phoebe Philo, imagined for the spring-summer 2005 collection a bag that quickly became the it-bag of the Maison. The first 8,000 copies produced are even sold before arriving in the shop. Its name is taken from the London district of the same name, dear to the designer who was inspired by the bohemian and feminine aesthetic of the founder of Chloé, Gaby Aghion.

The Paddington is recognized by its soft leather, its wide handle, its smooth and rounded lines and its XXL brass padlock weighing up to 500g depending on the versions. Chic and casual, this bag combines perfectly with the daily life of active women, who can take everything they need. The model comes in several easy to match colors, such as gray, brown and beige camel.
