[LIFESTYLE] In Cannes, Chopard celebrates diamonds, craftsmanship, and femininity

On May 18, during the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, Chopard hosted its traditional gala to unveil the “Red Carpet 2026” High Jewelry collection, themed “Miracles,” featuring 79 dazzling creations.

A collection that highlights airy volumes, the play of light in the sky, and miniature wildlife…

Chopard no longer simply creates jewelry; it builds a true narrative universe. And the Frojo boutique, one of the Swiss brand’s leading retailers, offers a selection of its most iconic creations. Its showcase, featuring both timeless pieces and exclusive brand offerings, makes this family-owned business a favorite destination for all lovers of luxury jewelry and watches.

A new collection themed around miracles

“Miracles are often subtle: they arise from a detail, a light, an unexpected emotion. This collection is an invitation to see them in a new light.Caroline Scheufele, Creative Director at Chopard.

This collection is not meant to be worn or simply to accessorize an outfit: it is designed to enhance the person who adorns herself with these jewels. Belonging to the realm of spectacular high jewelry, the uniqueness of these pieces is built around vivid, dazzling colors : emeralds, blue sapphires, shades of pink and yellow, floral brooches, and even shades of electric blue—this new collection is as electrifying as it is intriguing.

The concept of movement lies at the very heart of the design. Between a suspended effect and a sense of unfolding, the fish and butterfly brooches give the impression of taking flight or diving. An organic metamorphosis and a magical aesthetic, this emotional, spectacular, and feminine jewelry captivates with its boldness and sparkle.

Frojo, a family-run business for six generations

Founded in Marseille in 1854, the adventure began with Eugenio Frojo, a native of Piedmont and head of the watchmaking workshop for the company Charlet. His son bought the business and transformed it into Frojo-Charlet. In the 1970s, the company, newly renamed Maison Frojo, set up shop on La Canebière and subsequently expanded its presence to various locations in Marseille and Saint-Tropez.

This family business has thus passed down its expertise from generation to generation for over 170 years. Now led by Edouard Frojo, the Maison operates several retail locations, including winter boutiques in Saint-Tropez and Val d’Isère. Thanks to its team of highly skilled artisans, the workshop offers a range of services—from repair and maintenance to jewelry creation and customization—all reflecting this commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.

High-Quality Service

In addition to presenting its own jewelry collections, Frojo also offers a vast selection of luxury goods, including prestigious jewelry and watches from internationally renowned brands such as Cartier, Rolex, Messika, Tudor, Omega, and Chopard. This allows customers to discover and explore a diverse range of collections, from classic and timeless pieces to contemporary and exclusive creations.

In-store, the human experience is a priority: each customer receives personalized attention, guided by passionate experts capable of advising both connoisseurs and newcomers seeking their first exceptional piece. The House also offers a bespoke creation service: drawing on the customer’s wishes and imagination, the artisans at the Marseille workshop design unique pieces, handcrafted to the same exacting standards as the world’s leading jewelry houses.

With boutiques in Marseille, Saint-Tropez, and Val d’Isère, Frojo is at the heart of regions where the French art of living meets excellence. The French Riviera, a natural playground for fine jewelry and the setting for the Cannes Film Festival, is no stranger to this world: it is precisely in this Mediterranean spirit, blending sunny elegance and understated refinement, that the House has forged its identity for over 170 years. A must-visit destination for anyone wishing to treat themselves to a Chopard piece under the best conditions.
