There are 12 Disney parks spread across 6 resorts around the world. The first parks opened in the United States with Disneyland California (Anaheim), which opened in 1955, followed by Walt Disney World Resort in Florida in Orlando (1971). The concept then expanded beyond America, first to Japan with Tokyo Disney Resort (1983) and then to France with Disneyland Paris (Marne-la-Vallée – 1992). Disney subsequently strengthened its presence in Asia with two new parks in China: Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (2005) and Shanghai Disney Resort (2016). In May 2025, the Disney Group announced the opening of a seventh resort, this time in the United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi, in partnership with Miral. While the war in the Middle East could delay the opening, the launch of this new resort is not expected before 2030.

Highly anticipated by the community, the Frozen-themed land welcomed its first visitors, who can already discover characters from both films, the attraction and show, as well as the village of Arendelle crowned by a mountain. The latter rises to 36 meters high and dominates the Nordic area. The Frozen-themed land was announced in 2018 and is part of a broader expansion plan estimated at €2 billion.
