Global macroeconomic announcements, or company results, in Europe, Asia, or the United States, these are the events not to be missed during the week of February 6 to 10.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Global economic, political and stock market announcements<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The economic agenda is very full for the <strong>week of February 6 to 10<\/strong>. Starting with France, which will release its <strong>December foreign trade results<\/strong> at 8:45 am on Monday, February 6. The Eurozone will release the <strong>Sentix investor confidence index for February<\/strong> at 10:30 am, as well as the <strong>December retail sales<\/strong> at 11 am.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>On Tuesday, February 7<\/strong>, Japan will release its <strong>December household spending<\/strong> at 12:30 a.m., and Germany its <strong>December industrial production<\/strong> at 8 a.m. On the same day, France will post its <strong>December balance of payments<\/strong> at 8:45 a.m. The U.S. will report its <strong>December trade deficit<\/strong> at 2:30 p.m. and its <strong>December consumer credit<\/strong> at 9 p.m. <strong>Fed Chairman Jerome Powell will speak at the Economic Club of Washington at 6 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday&#8217;s February 8<\/strong> schedule includes the release of <strong>Japan&#8217;s December trade balance<\/strong> at 12:50 a.m. and <strong>France&#8217;s flash estimate of annual payroll employment<\/strong> at 8:45 a.m. The U.S. also has a busy schedule as it will release its <strong>December wholesale trade statistics<\/strong> at 4:00 p.m., and its <strong>weekly oil inventories from the Energy Department<\/strong> at 4:30 p.m. <strong>Joe Biden<\/strong> will take the stage on the night of February 8-9 at 3:00 am CST <strong>to give a state of the Union address to Congress.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Japan<\/strong>, which has been very active this week, will release its <strong>January monetary aggregates<\/strong> at 12:50 a.m. on Thursday, February 9. At 8:00 a.m., Germany will release <strong>its first estimate of the January consumer price index<\/strong>, while France will release its <strong>preliminary results for payroll employment and working hours for 2022<\/strong> at 8:45 a.m. At 2:30 p.m., the U.S. will report <strong>new weekly unemployment data for the week ending Saturday, February 4.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To wrap up the week, <strong>China will report<\/strong> <strong>January inflation on Friday, February 10, as well as January industrial producer prices<\/strong> at 2:30 a.m. on the night of February 9-10. At 8:00 am, the UK will release its <strong>December industrial production, December balance of payments, and 2022 GDP guidance<\/strong>. Later in the day, Germany is also expected to release its <strong>December current account balance<\/strong>, and India will reveal its <strong>December industrial production<\/strong> at 1pm. Finally, the U.S. will give the <strong>February University of Michigan confidence index<\/strong> at 4:00 p.m., and the <strong>January budget situation<\/strong> at 8:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Company publications in France and abroad<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Beginning Tuesday, February 7<\/strong> (after trading), <strong>BNP Paribas<\/strong> will release its annual revenue and earnings and its third quarter 2022-2023 revenue (after trading). Similarly, <strong>GlaxoSmithKline and Nintendo<\/strong> will release their third quarter results, while <strong>BP, DuPont de Nemours, Linde, Trivago and Western Union<\/strong> are expected to release their fourth quarter results on the same day. <strong>Exel Industries<\/strong> will hold its AGM on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at 8 rue d&#8217;Ath\u00e8nes (75009 Paris), and <strong>Gaussin<\/strong> will hold an EGM at 11 a.m. at 11 rue du 47e-R\u00e9giment-d&#8217;Artillerie (70400 H\u00e9ricourt).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday, February 8<\/strong>, will be marked by the publication of the annual results of <strong>ALD Automotive, Amundi, Lectra, Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale and TotalEnergies<\/strong>. <strong>Assystem<\/strong> will present its annual revenues, <strong>AST Groupe<\/strong> its annual revenues (after the stock market), and <strong>Claranova<\/strong> its revenues for the first half of 2022-2023. On the international front, <strong>ABN Amro Bank, AkzoNobel, Deutsche Boerse and Uber Technologies<\/strong> will announce their fourth quarter results. On the same day, <strong>Toyota<\/strong> will release its third quarter results and Walt Disney will release its first quarter results.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Several companies will reveal their annual results on <strong>Thursday 9 February<\/strong> : <strong>ArcelorMittal, Cr\u00e9dit Agricole, Euronext, Ipsen, Legrand, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield and Vinci<\/strong>. <strong>L&#8217;Or\u00e9al<\/strong> and <strong>Spineway<\/strong> will release their annual results (after the stock market), and Delta Plus Group and Guerbet will publish their annual sales. Internationally, <strong>AstraZeneca, Credit Suisse, ITT, Nissan, PepsiCo, Philip Morris, Siemens, and Unilever<\/strong> will all release their fourth quarter results on the same day.
