The GEI 2023 index includes 484 international companies<\/strong> from 54 different sectors and 45 countries. The financial information agency selected them from the more than 600 participants this year, 11% more than last year. In addition to Kering, L’Or\u00e9al<\/strong> is also included in the Index.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index tracks “the performance of listed companies that are committed to sharing their efforts on gender equality” and inclusiveness in the broadest sense, “through their internal policies, representation and transparency”.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n “Kering’s presence in this ranking reflects the importance the Group places on encouraging the careers of women<\/strong> at all levels of the organisation, and its commitment to a positive and inclusive work environment<\/strong> where each individual is valued,” the company said in a statement.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n “By developing programmes that highlight women’s talent and leadership, by prioritising their well-being, by helping them at key moments in their lives, and by committing to ending the pay gap, we are at the forefront for women in Luxury Goods<\/strong>, and are building the conditions for equality for all our talents<\/strong>“,<\/em> underlined B\u00e9atrice Lazat, Kering’s Human Resources Director.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n According to Peter T. Grauer, the head of Bloomberg, its Gender-Equality Index is an “important resource for companies to identify gaps and concrete steps <\/strong>to shape the future of work”.
