The owner of the famous eponymous moccasin brand, but also of the shoe and\/or ready-to-wear and couture houses Roger Vivier, Hogan, Fay and Schiaparelli, announced yesterday, Wednesday, a <strong>preliminary consolidated turnover of 1 billion euros<\/strong>. This represents a 14% increase over 2021, when sales reached 883.8 million euros. At constant exchange rates, revenues are even up 11% to 984.2 million euros, compared to last year.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The excellent news is that Tod&#8217;s has thus exceeded the pre-pandemic level of 2019 by 10%. This good performance was welcomed by the stock market, with Tod&#8217;s shares closing in the green on Wednesday, <strong>up 0.4% to 32.38 euros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Currency effect<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In more detail, the currency effect favored the group&#8217;s most international brands, namely Tod&#8217;s and Roger Vivier.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In addition to this economic factor, Diego Della Valle, the group&#8217;s president and CEO, sees in these results &#8220;<em>the fruit of the medium-term strategy<\/em>&#8221; that Tod&#8217;s has launched with &#8220;<em>the main objective of increasing the value of the group&#8217;s assets and of each individual brand, by allocating all the necessary investments<\/em>&#8220;. His team and are pleased to note that &#8220;<em>customers increasingly appreciate the high quality<\/em>&#8221; of the group&#8217;s products, &#8220;<em>their craftsmanship and iconic Italian lifestyle with a strong creative value<\/em>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Encouraged by this great momentum, the group will continue &#8220;<em>the policy of developing the distribution network, with the opening of new selected stores also in new markets<\/em>&#8220;, and carefully improve organic growth.
