The cuv\u00e9e Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs 2010 has been awarded the title of Supreme World Champion<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n This award recognizes the intuition of Ruinart’s oenological teams. They decided to reintroduce the tirage-li\u00e8ge, which replaces the metal capsules, for the 2010 vintage of the House’s prestige cuv\u00e9e. This “return to the roots”, with this natural material, gives it, according to the specialists, more amplitude and complexity.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Twelve years ago, nothing suggested that this vintage would be a great year for this sparkling wine, due to a nature weakened by climatic hazards. And yet, from these yellowish and white fruits, was born a champagne with an unexpected aromatic tone.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n It took a decade to reach its potential. Don Ruinart 2010 is the result of a long work, with a perfect aging, to become the best champagne in the world.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n A world title, but not only. Indeed, the cuv\u00e9e Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs 2010 has been awarded both the title of Best Champagne<\/strong><\/em> and Best French Sparkling Wine<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Other French champagnes and spirits received awards at this international competition. Maison Mumm was placed best in its category for the Champagne Blanc de Blanc Vintage, Louis Roederer for the vintage white champagne or Pierre Jou\u00ebt, the award for Best Champagne Ros\u00e9 Vintage.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Two years ago, the French House of Ruinart made a responsible commitment by revisiting its approach to packaging under the sign of sustainability, with a Seconde Peau case<\/strong>. Adaptable to all the House’s bottles, this new case is reusable, recyclable and compostable<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n For the end-of-year celebrations, this paper envelope, which is 62 times lighter in terms of carbon footprint, has been given a new look.
