Emmanuel Macron is visiting Washington for his second state visit.<\/strong> And he intends to make Europe’s voice<\/strong> heard with the main subject being the “Inflation Reduction Act<\/strong>“, the law adopted by Joe Biden<\/strong> last August, which provides for some 400 billion dollars in spending<\/strong>, particularly on industry.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The task looks difficult because the revival of American industry is at the heart of President Biden’s mandate.<\/strong> The objective for the American president: to create jobs, get rid of the Chinese influence and become a leader in this field.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Inflation Reduction Act<\/strong> (IRA), which came into force as part of the great climate plan<\/strong>, will also focus on the environment and social spending<\/strong>.
