Investors are awaiting the full results of the US mid-term elections and Thursday&#8217;s release of US inflation figures for October.<\/h4>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Index futures suggest a decline of <strong>0.36%<\/strong> for the<strong> CAC 40<\/strong> in <strong>Paris<\/strong>, <strong>0.39%<\/strong> for the <strong>Dax<\/strong> in <strong>Frankfurt,<\/strong> <strong>0.34%<\/strong> for the <strong>FTSE 100<\/strong> in <strong>London<\/strong> and <strong>0.29%<\/strong> for the <strong>EuroStoxx 50<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This hesitation is linked to the wait for the results of the US mid-term elections. At the moment, initial estimates give a lead to the Republicans in the House of Representatives. <strong>Edison Research<\/strong> estimates that five seats previously held by the Democrats have swung to the Republican side in the House, the number needed for the party to win a majority.
