{"id":93615,"date":"2022-11-09T10:38:19","date_gmt":"2022-11-09T09:38:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test2023.luxus-plus.com\/?p=93615"},"modified":"2022-11-09T10:39:15","modified_gmt":"2022-11-09T09:39:15","slug":"ferragamo-on-the-rise-driven-by-europe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/luxus-plus.com\/en\/ferragamo-on-the-rise-driven-by-europe\/","title":{"rendered":"Ferragamo on the rise, driven by Europe"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>The Italian luxury fashion house saw its revenues soar by 17.2% to \u20ac921 million in the first nine months of the year.<\/h4>\n<h4>\n<!--more--><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For the first three quarters of 2022, <strong>Salvatore Ferragamo Group<\/strong> <strong>reported total revenues of \u20ac921 million<\/strong>, up 17.2% at current exchange rates (+12.7% at constant exchange rates) from \u20ac785 million in the first nine months of 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gross operating profit (EBITDA) was EUR 241 million<\/strong> (+19.5%) and <strong>operating profit<\/strong> (EBIT) EUR<strong> 114 million<\/strong> (+34.8%). <strong>Net profit rose by 69.2% to EUR 67 million<\/strong>, despite a slowdown in sales in China due to health restrictions at the beginning of the year.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marco Gobbetti<\/strong>, the brand&#8217;s managing director and CEO since January, is delighted:\u00a0<em>&#8220;We continued to grow revenue in the third quarter, ensuring quality sales across all our distribution channels. (&#8230;) We have made progress in our operating profit and cash flow for the first nine months, while implementing the planned increase in marketing and communication expenses&#8221;.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Asia Pacific<\/strong>, the group&#8217;s largest market, experienced a marked slowdown, with revenue growth limited to 2.1%. In contrast, the <strong>Japanese market<\/strong> saw its sales increase by 19.9% and revenues in the <strong>Europe-Middle East-Africa<\/strong> region jumped by 37.3%. In <strong>North America<\/strong>, sales rose by 29.6%. <strong>Central America<\/strong> (+37%) was also in good shape.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In the midst of its recovery, <strong>Ferragamo<\/strong> <strong>wants to focus on its new creative chapter<\/strong>, with <strong>Maximilian Davis<\/strong>, its new artistic director.
