Watchmaker Jacob & Co is paying tribute to “The Godfather” movie, which is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its release this year. The New York-based company has just presented its brand new triple-axis watch dedicated to the film, in one of its filming locations, in Sicily.

It was on the Isle of Three Points that the brand’s CEO, Benjamin Arabov<\/strong>, in the presence of Jacob Arabo and one of The Godfather’s leading actors, Gianni Russo, paid tribute to the most famous gangster movie of all time. A reception was held at one of its iconic filming locations, Michael Corleone’s home, which has remained untouched since the film was shot in 1971.<\/p>\n

In honor of this cinematic masterpiece, which has not aged a bit despite its half-century, Jacob & Co presented the new version of its iconic triple-axis tourbillon watch. The Opera Godfather 50th anniversary<\/em><\/strong> is a limited series of 50 models, which brings together the entire film in one small dial. With the spectacular reminder of the film through various miniaturized elements such as the rose, or via the music box animated with its soundtrack, integrated into the watch, the latter is unique in its kind.<\/p>\n
