But this is not the Swiss retailer&#8217;s first venture across the Atlantic. In 2018, it acquired <strong>Tourneau<\/strong>, one of the giants of luxury watches in the United States in the new and second-hand segment, which was already <strong>a strategic acquisition for the establishment of the brand on the American market.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Leeds &amp; Son<\/strong> is an internationally renowned shopping destination for luxury timepieces and jewellery. Since its takeover in 1981, <strong>Terry Weiner<\/strong> has run the company alongside his sister Riki Stein. Today, the American retailer offers a wide variety of products from brands such as <strong>Rolex, Patek Philippe, Tudor and Messika<\/strong>, which it sells to a discerning West Coast clientele.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ira Melnitsky<\/strong>, President and CEO of <strong>Tourneau-Bucherer<\/strong>, said, <em>&#8220;We are delighted to welcome the Leeds &amp; Son team to the Bucherer family and to expand our customer relationships in California.
