During these three days, fashion has an appointment at the Villa Noailles<\/strong>. Between fashion, photography and accessories, the Hy\u00e8res Festival brings together every year the cutting edge of fashion and rewards the future great designers of tomorrow.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Founded by Jean-Pierre Blanc<\/strong> and a few designer friends in 1986, the festival’s reputation has grown year after year. But it was in 1991 that the event took off, with the participation of John Galliano<\/strong> in the jury. It is a great spotlight that establishes the reputation of the competition. Many young designers are noticed such as Anthony Vaccarello who now officiates at the head of the house Yves Saint Laurent, Julien Dossena, artistic director of Paco Rabanne since 2013 and Marine Serre, who won the endowment Galeries Lafayettes in 2017.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n For this new edition, many changes are emerging. Notably with Instagram, which is joining the Festival for the first time. The platform will provide support as a mentor to the winners<\/strong> of each of the awards. New partners are also entering, such as Bottega Veneta<\/strong> or the CELC<\/strong> (European Confederation of Flax and Hemp).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The official opening ceremony of this new edition takes place this afternoon, accompanied by a dj set. There will then be some speeches, a surprise concert, the screening of a documentary film by Karim Zeriahen and of course, the opening of the exhibitions to the public as well as many workshops.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n For each category, the finalists are already announced.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The fashion jury will be chaired by Glenn Martens, artistic director of the brand Y\/ Projects<\/strong>. He will be accompanied by the two designers of the Ottolinger label, Eug\u00e9nie Trochu, editorial content director of Vogue France as well as other artists and the winning designer of the 2021 edition, Ifeanyi Okwuadi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The jury will award a series of prizes to some of the ten finalists of the fashion competition, guaranteeing access to a certain notoriety. Among them, the Premi\u00e8re Vision Jury’s Grand Prize, the 19M prize for artistic craftsmanship, the Mercedes-Benz eco-responsible collection prize and the L’atelier des mati\u00e8res<\/em> prize.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\nA new edition, change and beautiful people<\/h2>\n
