It made perfect sense to extract the hidden value within the Volkswagen Group, especially when you have an iconic luxury brand like Porsche, which is so valuable,&#8221;<\/em> comments <strong>Alex Haigh, Director of Brand Finance.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On the podium,<strong> Louis Vuitton<\/strong> stands out in second place with a value of <strong>$23.4 billion<\/strong>. Louis Vuitton is one of many brands that benefited from increased demand for its products during the Covid-19 pandemic. <strong>Gucci<\/strong> came in third with a valuation of <strong>$18.1 billion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Est\u00e9e Lauder<\/strong>, which specialises in cosmetics and skincare, enters the top 10. This may be due to its rapid growth this year: it has recently benefited from increased sales in airports, among other channels, due to the recovery of the global travel industry.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Ritz-Carlton<\/strong>, meanwhile, is the world&#8217;s fastest-growing luxury brand, having more than doubled in value this year to <strong>$1.1 billion<\/strong>. In other words, its value has increased by 1<strong>12%<\/strong> with the reopening of travel to much of the world. As part of the Marriott Group, the Ritz-Carlton has built an extremely strong brand, with its index rising from <strong>79.6 to 83.2<\/strong>, earning it an <strong>AAA<\/strong> rating.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the value of brands, the <strong>Brand Finance<\/strong> report determines their relative strength through a balanced scorecard of measures assessing marketing investment, stakeholder equity and commercial performance.\u00a0 <strong>Ferrari<\/strong> is the strongest luxury brand in the world with an<strong> AAA+<\/strong> rating.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With this elite rating and a <strong>BSI of 90.9\/100, Ferrari<\/strong>, one of the most recognisable brands in the world, is the strongest luxury house in the world. Its projection towards electric vehicles represents both a challenge and an opportunity for the carmaker, which is looking to achieve its first fully electric vehicle by 2025.
