The wine estate of the Pinault family, which owns the luxury group Kering, will merge with that of the Henriot family, owner of the eponymous champagne.<\/h4>\n

The Pinault and Henriot families<\/strong>, owners of Art\u00e9mis Domaines and Maisons & Domaines Henriot<\/strong>, respectively, will pool their wineries in a merger. The deal would bring together brands such as Chateau Latour<\/strong>, which is owned by the Pinault family, and houses like Champagne Henriot<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

“The merger of Maisons & Domaines Henriot and Art\u00e9mis Domaines is a wonderful opportunity to bring together the treasures of our wine heritage under one banner,”<\/em> explained Fran\u00e7ois Pinault<\/strong> in a statement.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In terms of wines and spirits, Fran\u00e7ois Pinault already had a very fine portfolio of great vineyards, one of the richest in Bordeaux with Ch\u00e2teau Latour or Baronne Guichard (Gironde) but also in Burgundy with the Domaine d’Eug\u00e9nie in Vosne-Roman\u00e9e.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In addition to Henriot champagne, the family’s ownership of Bouchard P\u00e8re & Fils<\/strong>, the historic house of Beaune since 1731, as well as William F\u00e8vre<\/strong>, the first producer of great wines in Chablis, are included in the rapprochement with the Pinaults.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

After a recent foray into Champagne at Dizy and the conclusion of this merger with Maisons & Domaines Henriot<\/em>, Art\u00e9mis Domaines will have one of the most prestigious vineyards in the area.<\/p>\n
